Well, if that sounds like your cup of coffee, then you need to attend the Art and Balloon Festival in Lincoln this Fall.

3. Leroy Fall Festival, Leroy, IL

Who would have guessed that Leroy would host a Fall festival where you can ride all of the carnival rides and be treated to sumptuous food in a setting evoking nothing but an aura of fun?

This 5-day festival that also features live entertainment and bands is becoming popular among the residents of Illinois one Fall after the other. The people attending this festival sign up for a 5k run and you can even sponsor someone to run with the proceeds going towards a sports program at a local high school.

Play In Morton, IL: Events and Things to Do

Several great events are coming to the village of Morton, Illinois this Fall season. Here's a look at some of the biggest coming events along with many other things to do. These include events in Morton for the fall and winter seasons in 2014 and 2015.

The Morton Pumpkin Festival

The Morton Pumpkin Festival is a very popular event held in the town each year. Coming from September 10-13, 2014, the Pumpkin Festival has a full carnival, a parade, live entertainment and all sorts of pumpkin-related foods for all guests to enjoy.

There are also many special events like a pumpkin decorating contest, a pumpkin pie contest and pumpkin-weighing events. Events at The Bertha Frank Performing Arts Center

The Bertha Frank Performing Arts Center is a popular place to check different concerts at. The Bertha Frank Performing Arts Center of Morton is found at Morton High School on North Illinois Avenue. The arts center is operated by the Morton Fine Arts Association. It has a full full and winter concert series that will bring out many performers of all sorts.

The fall and winter season for 2014/2015 will start on October 6, 2014 with the Harmonicats, a harmonica music trio. Other acts to come include the vintage rock and roll performance group Phil Dirt and the Dozers, a group that will perform on November 10. The vocal pop performance group the Four Freshmen will also be here on December 8.

Many Hiking and Bike Trails Are Open

People can enjoy the sights of a Morton fall and winter around the town's many trails. These trails include a part of the 36-mile Constitution Trail that goes from Bloomington to Normal. There are also some fine bike trails to explore like the Pekin Park Bike Trail and River Trail of Illinois. Finally, the annual Holidazzle event will take place in Morton on November 14-15. There are many holiday open houses and parties around the town during this celebration. The town Christmas tree will be lit during this event. The events that are held during the Holidazzle celebration are designed to introduce the coming Christmas season to Morton.
